Heightened Xperience: Top 5 Moments PWX Redemption

 Bloodied Ethan Case

A blood feud between former best friends and tag partners came to a violent conclusion, a match of the year candidate, three athletes took the next step to infamy in claiming their X-16 spots, The Ugly Ducklings survived their toughest challenge to date and "The Old Stags" were toppled by The Revolt. These are just a few of the highlights from PWX 'Redemption' in this edition of 'Heightened Xperience' we'll countdown the top 5 moments and get a fan perspective on what surpassed expectations at Redemption.

Ugly Ducklings

5- Ducks survive a trio of Carnies- "We win and party" the words of The Ugly Ducklings Coach Mikey but at PWX Redemption, Rob Killjoy, Lance Lude, and Colby Corino had a battle on their hands from Team IOU and Tripp Cassidy. The Carnies were relentless jumping the ducks before the bell and not letting up. Corino survived a crash landing on a dive to the hard unforgiving floor, Killjoy and Lude survived a devastating 'Force Destroyer' that nearly dealt them their first loss in PWX. In the end, the hottest trio in professional wrestling managed to pull out another win, showing they have heart and drive to go with their over the top 'party style' antics. Of course it wouldn't be a Ducklings win if it didn't end with a dip and a kiss which was not well received by The Carnies. The narrative remains the same, DUCKS WIN! What's next for this trio?

Tracer X

4- THROW YOUR X UP! (Again)- Speaking of improbable runs, it's been a phenomenal three months in Premiere Wrestling Xperience for Tracer X. After appearing in a handful of tag team matches on PWX main shows, Tracer had a standout performance on a PWX Pure preshow earning himself a chance to shine again on the main show and shine he has! A huge win in a four way match last month gave way to the biggest opportunity yet for Tracer X, a shot at being in the 2nd annual X-16 tournament this November. Tracer X defeated another 'Pure' standout in Joey Lynch as well as returning Impact Wrestling star Andrew Everett to continue his impressive streak. How far can Tracer X take this momentum? It's safe to say he's not going to let this golden opportunity elude him.

 James Drake

3- Or maybe it's Drake's Time to Shine? - Another impressive story in PWX recently is the rise of "The New Age Enforcer". We all know by now, nothing is given to James Drake, he TAKES IT! and at Redemption Drake continued to take what he wants. After giving ITV Champion Gunner his toughest challenge to date a few months back and wowing the PWX faithful with each and every performance. There may be no one on the PWX roster that energizes the crowd like James Drake, but it's his career that The New Age Enforcer is looking to truly energize with a deep run in the X-16. Drake defeated the debuting Jeff Lewis Neal and independent superstar AR Fox in the opener at Redemption to stake his claim to become only the second winner of the annual tournament.

Bloodied Ethan Case

2- Case & Evans reach Worst Case Scenario- The war between former PWX Tag Team Champions and best friends Ethan Case and Elijah Evans IV has been brewing for all of 2016 and we've documented each step of the war here. At PWX Redemption, PWX Management wanted no part of the fallout scheduling an Unsanctioned, Last Man Standing match between the two friends turned rivals...It was a GOOD CALL! Case & Evans brawled all around the Gastonia Armory and even briefly out of it, chairs, tables, and even the ring was broken before this one was over. Mr. PWX shed blood for his victory but in the end that's exactly what he got, Victory and Redemption over Elijah Evans IV.

Anthony Henry Kick

1-MATCH OF THE YEAR!!?!(Again!)- We've seen Anthony Henry in some hellacious battles over the last year and a half but you could tell two things prior to his first time ever 1 on 1 matchup with Matt Riddle. Anthony Henry was excited to match up with the former UFC fighter and as always, Henry was supremely confident. Riddle was an instant hit with the PWX faithful and for good reason, we've seen athletes come in and test Henry but we may have not seen anyone test him like Riddle did. Still, Henry went hold for hold in an MMA style back and forth with Riddle, survived several vicious suplexes and the most vicious tombstone piledriver you'll ever see to not only pick up another marquee victory, but Henry TAPPED OUT Matt Riddle in an Instant Classic!! I've said it before but it bears repeating, if you missed this match. GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO SEE IT!

PWX Fans share the moments that heightened their XPERIENCE at PWX Redemption:

"Kevin Pierce flying through the chairs"--Jeremy Maestro

"Colby's Crash landing"--Patrick Treadway

"Riddle getting a piledriver on the concrete floor!"--Patricia Willis

"Everything that happened during the Riddle/Henry match was one continuous mind blowing moment"--Chris Dickinson
