Former PWX tag team champions went through absolute HELL in a last man standing match, Anthony Henry and Matt Riddle delivered another very memorable performance, and three men earned their spot in the 2016 X-16 tournament. PWX Redemption in Gastonia, North Carolina was another shining example of it being the best wrestling in the southeast! Let's take a look at quick results from PWX Redemption

The man in the picture above has been referred to as many things in his 7 years as a professional wrestler. Current WWE Superstar Kevin Owens (fka Kevin Steen) called Cedric "the future of Ring of Honor" before Owens himself departed the company for World Wrestling Entertainment. Fans locally and globally simply refer to Alexander as "The Best in the World" and most recently Cedric has been the standout of WWE's inaugural Global Cruiserweight Classic on the WWE Network. Prior to all these accolades, Cedric Alexander began his career under the guidance of legendary wrestling trainer and former National Wrestling Alliance wrestler George South. South who has trained countless up and coming talents as well as many who have moved onto big careers on the national stage, names like current WWE Women's Champion Charlotte, Caleb Konley, and the sons of legendary former NWA Champions but none of those names shine any brighter than The Queen City's Favorite Son (another name Alexander has earned  through several years of proving himself with a large part of that coming in his home promotion, Premiere Wrestling Xperience based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. South shared some words that he used to remind Cedric of all the time, "' what you got nobody can have and what they got you don't want.''

Official Event Preview: PWX Redemption

Premiere Wrestling Xperience returns to the National Guard Armory in Gastonia, North Carolina this Saturday September 17 for Redemption. Headlining the show will be the long awaited rematch between former PWX Tag Team Champions and best friends "Mr. PWX" Ethan Case and Elijah Evans IV. The feud between these former friends reached a fever pitch last month in Charlotte when Evans attacked Case with a sledgehammer and cut the hair of his former best friend. Things are have truly reached 'Worst Case Scenario' as Premiere Wrestling Xperience is NOT sanctioning the last man standing match at Redemption. Anthony Henry made a statement attacking Cedric Alexander during his farewell speech last month and claiming Cedric's spot as a "top guy" for his own, Henry has been on an incredible streak and on September 17th once again he faces a tough challenge in the debuting former UFC fighter and EVOLVE standout Matt Riddle. We go from a debut to a return and that return is by one of the most polarizing athletes in independent wrestling Joey Ryan! Ryan has been in headline after headline recently and at Redemption he gets perhaps his biggest opportunity in PWX so far, a World Championship match with the reigning PWX Champion "The Manscout" Jake Manning. Those three matches are stacked enough, but that's not all.  It's X-16 season! Last year, PWX put on one of the most competitive, talked about, and stacked new tournaments in all of indie wrestling and Redemption will host the first of several triple threat qualifying matches for this year's tournament. In addition to all of that the hottest trio in independent wrestling will try to remain undefeated in PWX as The Ugly Ducklings face "The Carnies" Team IOU and Tripp Cassidy. Redemption is truly an event not to be missed as it will set the tone for the rest of 2016 in PWX and don't forget prior to PWX Redemption you can see Queens of Combat 15 LIVE! And you get both shows for the lowest ticket prices PWX has offered in a very long time! Get your tickets on the main page and make your plans to be in Gastonia this Saturday for Queens of Combat 15 and PWX Redemption, come out and be a part of the best wrestling in the Southeast! Some cards are stacked, some are loaded, and this is simply PREMIERE WRESTLING XPERIENCE!!
